Peppard Rd Surgery makes improvements

Posted 21/07/2018

Peppard Rd Surgery in Caversham now has a ‘good’ rating for how safe its services are.

The small GP surgery had previously been told to make improvements to the way it stores medicines, stocks medicines for emergencies, and practises good infection control, during an inspection carried out in November 2017.

In a report published on 12 July 2018, the Care Quality Commission confirmed the required changes had been made. In the four main other areas that the CQC checks (being caring, effective, responsive, and well-led), Peppard Rd Surgery remained rated as ‘good’.
