Members of the public are able to attend meetings of the Primary Care Commissioning Committee (PCCC), held four times a year in public. The committee is made up of the federation of Berkshire West clinical commissioning groups, which includes North and West Reading CCG and South Reading CCG.

The PCCC has responsibility for planning and overseeing GP services, looking at issues such as workforce, quality of care, local incentive schemes, premises, practice mergers and long-term strategy.

Healthwatch Reading is a non-voting attendee of the committee.

If you would like to attend any of the committee’s meetings in public to see decision-making in action, please register here by 12 noon the day prior to the meeting. The deadline for submitting questions, relating to the agenda for the committee to consider, is 5pm, two days before the meeting. Please email or telephone: 0300 123 6264. Papers will be available to view and/or download five working days before the date of each meeting.
