The Berkshire West Clinical Commissioning Group is the organisation responsible for funding and planning NHS services for people in Reading (and Wokingham and West Berkshire).
The CCG’s governing body is made up mostly of GPs and it holds its meeting in public every three months.
Members of the public can attend all governing body meetings and also submit questions about issues on the agenda (published five working days before each meeting). Healthwatch Reading usually attends these meetings to find out what decisions are made that will affect local people, and to ask questions where appropriate. People must submit questions at least two days before the meeting takes place, either by email or phone. : firstname.lastname@example.org or by phoning 0118 982 2958. Full details of the governing body, future meeting dates, and agendas can be found on the CCG’s website.
