Chilmington care home rated ‘good’

Posted 21/05/2018

Chilmington at Home, a small care home for people with learning disabilities based in west Reading, has maintained its ‘good’ rating after its latest inspection.

In a report published on 3 May 2018, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) said people’s rights and freedom were respected and people were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives, in the least restrictive way possible. Residents were cared for safely by kind staff, and they received excellent healthcare support.

The CQC is the national, independent body that checks the quality of all social care services.
