Carewatch agency rated ‘good’

Carewatch (Reading & West Berkshire) has been rated ‘good’ for the home care it provides to around 100 people.

In an inspection report published on 8 August 2018, the Care Quality Commission said the home care agency had improved its recruitment practices since a previous inspection in 2017 by carrying out full  background checks before hiring care workers.

During the latest inspection people told the CQC they felt safe and were being well treated. One relative said: “In the past year I have had a great weight taken off my shoulders, I know my wife is safe and being treated with the respect she deserves.”
